Welcome to  the Melis River website, dedicated to an international FCI-registered kennel, whose foundation lies above all in the exceptional bond between me and  one extraordinary Australian Shepherd bitch, as well as in a gradually developing view of breeding and, above all, of life with this unique, perceptive, loyal, active and at the same time adaptable breed.

I see Melis River as a space where life with dogs, working together, experience, breeding and the way I think about both breeding and life with dogs itself come together. If you would like to know more about what stands behind Melis River, or learn more about our shared world and  activities with Cayapó, come in.
